5 things to keep in mind: The content is now dictated by the CAN/CSA Z1220-17 standard. This standard is based on 2 criteria to determine the type of kit to provide: the level of risk and the number of workers in the company. You are not starting from scratch, often only a few additions are required, such as an emergency blanket, cleaning wipes or antibiotic ointment. For vehicles, refer to the personal kit for isolated workers. The inspection must be done at least every 3 months. You have until March 17, 2021 to comply with these changes. Good to know: no supplier is authorized by the CNESST or any other authority to sell first aid kits. There is no need to change your entire kit, since most items do not have an expiration date.
